Please write a well-organized and supported essay on one of the following topics. Please have a solid thesis statement and developed paragraphs. (2-3 pages)
1) Explore how the Russians/Germans are portrayed in the film From Russia with Love and the novel, Moonraker. Possible themes: alliances and enemies, the sense of the exotic/other, international relations...
2) Examine the women Gala Brand (Moonraker) and Tatiana Romanova (From Russia with Love). How are they portrayed? What are the differences? Do these differences have an effect on Bond?
3) Seeing that Bond embodies everything Britain, what cultural lessons are readers/viewers to learn from Bond? (think about games, sportsmanship, patriotism, culture, nationalism)
